Chef Aleem

Chef Aleem Syed studied at Le Cordon Bleu, which is the world’s largest hospitality and culinary educational institution. After
graduation he helmed the kitchens of the most elite restaurants around the world such as Canoe, Soho Metropolitan, Origin

North and BLT Prime in New York City.

While at the peak of his career, Chef Aleem was met with an unfortunate accident and sustained a spinal cord injury that left
him paralyzed below the waist and bound to a wheelchair. While most people would assume that an experience like this would

slow one down, Aleem was determined to defy the odds and keep pushing forward.

Today, he is the successful owner of Chef Aleem Inc. a company that specializes in catering, restaurant consulting and in
Spring 2015 will be opening the first wheelchair accessible food truck in Canada. Chef Aleem does not plan on stopping there;
he is determined to contribute his ever evolving talents and inspiration to the world. Chef Aleem has become a household
name, a thriving brand and he serves as a phenomenal representation of hope, perseverance and greatness.
