Jae Deen is an artist who was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In 2010, Jae Deen converted to Islam at the age of 15. Jae Deen has been creating music, specifically rap, since the age of 13. Before turning into the Islamic scene, Jae was engaging himself into the typical mainstream rap that is prevalent in today’s society.

Prior to embarking on the journey of becoming a faith inspired artist, Jae realized that the songs he was composing should consist of positivity and being source of motivation for humanity. At this point in his life as a Muslim Convert, Jae Deen was becoming more religious and decided that in order to be comfortable with his art, he had to make his religion part of it.

His path of Islamic music began early 2013. Starting September 2014, Jae Deen started uploading videos of himself rapping, which went viral on Facebook. Since those videos, Jae Deen has accomplished gaining thousands of fans on his social media platform. Jae Deen decided to collaborate with Karter Zaher and create the social movement “Deen Squad” which has resulted in inspiring thousands of Muslims worldwide. Jae Deen plans to continue his work as a Muslim entertainer, to portray the true image of Islam and to inspire Muslim youth to do the same.
