Based in epicenter of Africa, South African born sensation Muhammed Yaseen Mohamed comes from a line of Indian, Spanish and Arabic heritage. The 22-year-old sensation is a hafiz of the Holy Quraan, an author, TV presenter, a final year law student and a singer and songwriter.

His journey began when he first started collaborating with International Artist Zain Bhikha and slowly developed on to the Islamic music scene with the production of his acapella album “The Scarf” which resulted in the title track of the album being filmed at the Replica of the Sultan Mosque of Turkey based in South Africa.

His big break came in 2013 when he performed in front of almost 10000 people at the Athlone stadium in Cape Town thus creating a stir in the music industry and attracting all forms of mainstream opportunities.

However, in 2012 he took the path towards Islamic and faith Inspired music when he began crafting his international debut album, recorded and produced in almost 5 countries namely Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and South Africa.

In October 2015, Muhammed Yaseen spent almost three weeks in Malaysia and Indonesia recording his Music Video Love And Peace featuring Malaysian hit singer Hafiz Hamidun.

This year (2016) welcomed different opportunities for the young artist when he signed with Arteffects International and Sony Music Malaysia with respect to his international debut album.

In February 2016 Muhammed Yaseen released his international debut album “The One” with 9 hit tracks consisting of songs in English, Arabic, Malay and Urdu written and produced to inspire individuals all around the world.

Muhammed Yaseen has endorsed many brands and organizations across the African continent.

Laudium Sun in South Africa has described Yaseen as an inspirational young South African  with the Bollywood look, ready to take on the world.
